Machine Communication
It is the physical aspect of the IT infrastructure that connects all the equipment together. It also controls the traffic flow. Cirlare believes in standardized implementation of networks. Our engineers have worked in some of the world's largest companies in the past and now the same level of expertise and quality is available to your organization. In addition, all of our engineers are certified (Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE). From a new network design to an upgrade of your current network topology, you can count on us for our reputable and quality services. Our commitment is to ensure your network achieves as close to 100% availability as possible. We are partnered with Cisco to bring you the most reliable and the fastest network you demand. Our network services include the following:
Design and Deployment
Our engineers will design a dependable network infrastructure to suit your needs. An ideal network design has redundancy to eliminate points of failure, high scalability so future changes and upgrades will be possible, and solid performance under the most demanding situations. Things such as the location of the network/server room that seems unimportant are vital as a part of network design. Our experience with networks allows us to predict where additional attention is needed and areas where things can possibly go wrong. Instead of gambling and waiting for things to go wrong, we try to prevent the problems from happening in the first place. We deploy network designs thoroughly and follow any of the building / county / technical codes that apply. Cable management also comes standard with our deployment. Instead of letting hundreds of cables hang like waterfalls in front of racks, a few extra minutes and a few cable ties can mean smooth sailing for modifications and relocation, instead of pulling your hair out trying to find the right cable. Note: We no longer implement new CAT5e networks. All new networks are implemented with CAT6 UTP or better.Firewall
The line of defense that separates your network and the public internet, a firewall is crucial to the security of your network. A firewall filters between authorized and unauthorized network traffics. When it encounters unauthorized traffic, the firewall simply drops the traffic before it can get to the target location.- Security strategy design and placement
- Implementation of firewall policies
- Implementation of Host and Network based IDS
- DMZ zones
- Honeypot solutions
Routing and Switching
The router is a smart controller for network traffics and usually marks a broadcast domain. Like a traffic director, the router inspects every packet and routes them according to the routing table. The switch efficiently reduces network traffic compared to a hub, by remembering a MAC address table. We understand that these are critical network components and this is also an area where we perform some of our best work.- Network infrastructure design
- DNS services (split brain DNS, DDNS (RFC 2136), SOA, DNS delegation, forwarders, etc)
- NAT / DHCP, QoS services
- Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IGRP, RIP, etc)
- Custom and static routing tables
- Subnet and VLAN creation and configuration
- Network monitoring and traffic sniffing / analyses
- MAC address filtering
- Port forwarding
- IPv4 and IPv6 services
Wireless (Wi-Fi)
Wires aren't really convenient. In a wireless model, the components of your IT equipment are communicating with each other, but you just can't see it. Wireless offers a quick way to get everything connected without running wires across floors and through walls; however, wireless connections are considered a security risk due to the fact that the data is airborne, and anyone in the area can grab it and inspect it. Also, when the wireless access point is not secured, anyone can tap in and cause a security intrusion. Encryption and enhanced authentication are often used to strengthen the security aspect of WiFi, but even with encryption the fact that signals are airborne remains and it's a matter of time before the encryption is broken. When seeking absolute data safety and security, always go with a wired connection, preferably an optical fiber wired connection.- Strategic WiFi deployment
- Wireless encryptions (WPA, WPA2, WPA2 Enterprise)
- Wifi authentication
- Access points, range extenders
VPN and Remote Access
Working from the comfort of your home and still being productive isn't a fantasy anymore. Since information technology changed how our businesses work, it became a requirement that employees away from your organization be given access to the server to obtain information. Virtual Private Network allows a user to remotely and securely log into your infrastructure as if the user were sitting in front of the workstation.- IPSec / L2TP configuration
- VPN concentrator / client
- Remote control services (VNC, Citrix, Dameware, etc)
VOIP
Voice over IP has been popular in the enterprise world. VOIP converts the analog voice waves into digital traffic packets, which are transmitted over the network and converted back into voice waves by the end device. VOIP can save expenses in terms of long distance bills and simplify communication to only one wiring type as it uses the same CAT5e or CAT6 wires as ethernet.
