Everyone is doing their part to keep the planet that nurtures us more healthy. Here are somethings that Cirlare been doing to keep Earth greener..
- Every single workstation or server that we deployed this year contains only RoHS compliant parts.
- Since 2007 we have only been deploying workstations that have 80+ efficiency certified power supplies.
- We only deploy LCD monitors since we started service. CRT monitors use at least 2 times more power than a LCD.
- We have been keeping old workstations away from dumpsters, by providing a free service to clean up old workstations from our clients and then donate them to local non-profit organizations.
- We advise all our clients to turn off their workstations at the end of day. This not only reduces wear on the hardware components, it keeps the electricity bill low. You know that the workstations we manage always boot up quickly every morning.
- We are against inkjets. Injets dry up quickly over time and is way over priced. We deploy laser printers because they are cost effective and the empty toner cartridges are recycled by the manufacturers.
